| Business Development Analyst
Cliffstar Corporation, processor and producer of private-label fruit juices, has an immediate opening for a Business Development Analyst at its Dunkirk, New York headquarters. Position overview:
• provide in-depth Sales and Marketing support to ensure all current and future defined sales objectives are achieved;
• conduct detailed analysis and reporting utilizing the appropriate information resources (IRI, CPFR, Crystal)
• create and present compelling, fact-based presentations to communicate strategic sales initiatives, product solutions, and business plans;
• assess opportunities for and oversee new item development;
• provide insight and direction on customer and category trends including market data, category reviews and competitive market analysis;
• maintain detailed knowledge of the industry, our products, as well as competitive products, prices and sales programs.
Successful candidate should possess BS/BA degree with 3-5 years of related experience. Strong Technical Skills – IRI, CPFR, SAP, Crystal, Microsoft Office Applications, are required. Knowledge of Safeway internal systems an asset.

| CORPORATE PROCESS ENGINEER
Cliffstar Corporation, processor and producer of private label fruit juices, has an immediate opening for an experienced Project Engineer especially qualified in Process Engineering to join the Corporate Engineering Staff at its’ Dunkirk, New York headquarters. Broad knowledge of manufacturing systems, food plant processes, pasteurization, and plant utility systems is required; experience in HACCP, environmental and regulatory compliance are plusses. Successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong technical, interpersonal & organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to design and deliver successful projects on time & within budget.
Requirements:
BS Engineering, preferably Chemical
A minimum of 5 years Process Engineering experience
- Minimum of 3 years in Food Processing, including Thermal Processes
- Experience in Capital Project Management, Environmental, and Regulatory are plusses
- Experience in bottling and packaging are pluses
AutoCAD & MS Project skills desired
Ability to travel domestically 50% of the time, including occasional weekends

Cliffstar Corporation, processor and producer of private label fruit juices, has an immediate opening for an experienced Industrial Engineering Manager especially qualified in implementing continuous improvement programs to join the Corporate Engineering Staff at its’ Dunkirk, New York headquarters. Broad knowledge of manufacturing systems, improvement methodologies, food plant processes, bottling and secondary packaging systems, operations management and cost systems is required; including demonstrated success in providing corporate leadership in initiating & executing efficiency increasing and waste reduction projects. Successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong technical, interpersonal & organizational skills and demonstrated success in building teams and delivering results in a dynamic, multiple responsibility environment.
Requirements:
BS Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing
A minimum of 7 years of Industrial Engineering experience, 2 in a supervisory/managerial position
- Broad experience in manufacturing improvement methodologies (TPM, Lean, etc.) required
- Experience in food processing preferred, especially hot fill PET bottling
- 6 Sigma Black Belt certification is a plus
Ability to travel domestically 50% of the time, including occasional weekends
General Duties & Responsibilities:
• Successfully develops & leads multiple improvement initiatives supporting corporate growth and efficiency goals at any of Cliffstar’s US facilities.
• Directs and supports subordinates and plant associates in identifying opportunities, initiating projects and delivering against objectives. Provides training in production improvement methodologies. Coordinates improvement activities across multiple Cliffstar sites. Develops associates skills in establishing a continuous improvement culture.
• Identifies opportunities to improve plant performance, product quality and employee welfare, provides leadership in developing and implementing practical solutions
• Develops decision support information through work and productivity measurements, statistical analysis, economic feasibility studies, and production modeling.
• Provides clear & concise analysis & reporting on manufacturing network capabilities & opportunities.
• Initiates appropriation requests, purchase orders, and contracts as required.

Experience

Position Overview
? Responsible for formulating and executing strategic business plans specific to Cliffstar Sales and Marketing Objectives by segment and customer
? Lead category management initiatives for Defined Product Lines and Consumer Targets
? Support fact-based selling in order to drive sales growth and profitability
? Build and maintain long-term relationships with our customer through objective insight development and presentation.
? This person will be based in Dunkirk, NY 14048 and report directly to the Director of Marketing
Key Responsibilities:
? Assist Director of Marketing with a variety of responsibilities such as: Developing and implementing sales/business plans, Understanding and supporting retailer’s needs, Gaining retailer’s commitment to sales strategies and new initiatives, Problem-solving, Developing long-term partnering relationships, Achieving sales plan.

? Contribute to strategic planning on marketing, product and product development, and on merchandising methods and displays. Provide marketing presentations and briefs for New Item Introductions.
? Maintain detailed knowledge of the industry, our products, as well as competitive products, prices and sales programs, and share knowledge appropriately. Monitor competitor activity and participate in the development and implementation of appropriate response strategies.
? Shelf Schematic Analysis - Develop shelf schematic recommendations including regional/store specific analysis; measure results of schematic revisions.
